So back to FRIDAY!!! Lol I also sat down and talked to AMBER BULLOCK ,and one of my fav singers EVER Issac Carree. He was great and she was even more awesome than I remember on SUNDAY's Best. I sat down with both of them and gave them the fashion questionnaire.

LET's start with AMBER!!!

 Ms. Amber as you all know is the current winner of the Sunday's Best competition on BET, and is a very stylish diva her self. She recently colored her hair and has an amazing funky free style going on. She is currently natural and wears it so well. Here are a few of the questions I asked.

What would you say your style is? --Sexy for the lord.
What are your fav designers/places to shop? --Love Bakers, LOVE Jessica Simpson and any RED BOTTOM!!!

What style do you like the most? -- More vintage styles

What is the one thing you cant go without fashion wise? -- My girddle!!!

Do you have a stylist? --Yes. One that the record label provides but I do most of my work with my stylist Fitz Fitzgerald

Ms. Amber is one hot mama!!! Her album drops July 10th!!! Make sure you go get it!!!!






OHHHHHHH Mr. Carree!!! First off can we just say how fine this man is!!! I MEAN REALLY!!! I though he was younger than what he is but hey its all good!!! lol WE STILL LOVE YOU ISSAC!!! Lol

Issac Carree is currently a new solo artist but no stranger to the Gospel industry. He has sung with John P. Kee. One of the members of the hit group Men of Standard. An amazing background vocalist for Kirk Franklin, and NOW venturing out on his own as a soo artist with the hit song "IN THE MIDDLE".

Here is what Issac had to say about his fashion statement.

What do you want people to remember about you and your style in the gospel industry?-- That I am a 'FINE,SEXY GROWN MAN".

What is your style consist of?-- I am very laid back. I love my suits. They are all custom because I am so tall so I have to get it right with the customs.

What are some of your fav brands? -- I am a 5 letter guy. GUCCI, LOUI V, PRADA. Love my Levi's , Jordan's when I am kicking it

What style do you find yourself in the most? -- European Style suits. All the time. Its my thing especially when I am performing so Anything with a European cut.

It was sooooo much fun kicking it with all of these amazing artist and people over the weekend and can you believe it...THIS WAS JUST NIGHT 1!!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!

What a WEEKEND!!!!! Let me first start off by saying CINCINNATI,has some of the best and most amazing people. This weekend here in the city of Cincinnati we had the 11th annual I HEAR MUSIC in the Air Music Conference and it was a weekend FULL of great activities and events and of course your girl was there COVERING ALL OF THE EVENTS and fashion that went down this weekend. First lets get you readers some info. I HEAR MUSIC Conference is one of the greatest Music conferences int he MidWest for the Gospel Industry. It is a weekend full of great events and concert and some of the best singing this side of heaven!!!!
 Friday night kicked off with a Concert at the Aronoff Center with Kirk Franklin, Byron Cage, Sunday's Best winner Amber Bullock, Pastor Charles Jenkins, Issac Carree,and Cheneta Jones.

Saturday we went in for Jesus at the Teen Summit where the Youth got their praise on and some even received the holy spirit!!!! It was awesome. Issac Carree came thru and performed as well as Canton Jones, and many many others.The Teen Summit was hosted by the AMAZING trio...Christopher. and Kirk Franklin TOOK US ALL IN, with an awesome word!!!!!

Last but not least there is the Legend's Ball that's honor great people that have made a difference in our communities as a whole and have made an impact on the Gospel community. This year Pastor Donnie McClurkin, the NAACP, and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen were all honored.


NOW...Friday night WAS OFF THE CHAIN..... Hands down. People said that it felt like the Aronoff was lifted by the power of God. Some even said it was not a concert but a worship experience, and I know with Kirk on stage, he ushered in the spirit of God. Now sad to say I didn't get to see Kirk perform because we were waiting back stage and doing interviews and of course I got right down to the basic of fashion with each of my guest, starting with the amazing CHENETA JONES. Coming out of St. Louis, she will be releasing her debut album I believe this weekend on an independent record label. When we sat down for our interview here are just a few question and answers!!!

What is her personal Style? --She loves laid back, simple simple fashion. She also love neutral colors and loves to keep her style young and youthful.
Do you have a Stylist? No, she does all her coordination herself for the most part. Some help every now and then but mainly its all her.



This is what Cheneta was rocking on stage Friday night at the concert when she performed, and she also gave a great listening to a few tracks from her up coming album.

My next interview was with Pastor Charles Jenkins from Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago. Him and his group can thru and SHUT IT DOWN as well. There was sooo much talent in the house. This 36 year old Pastor answered a few of my fashion questionnaires as well. Heres what he had to say.

How do you all come up with your style? -- We really just coordinate. We let everyone kind of express themselve and their own style.

Do you have a fav brand? -- Hugo Boss, I love European sytle/cut suits.

What are you hoping to acheieve in the music industry? -- We have a pure commitment to reach the loss and to save souls.

MY QUICK THOUGHTS

HAPPY WEDNESDAY Fashion guru's!!!

Just a quick lesson in Fashion and finances. So many times we OVER SPEND, on our clothing needs, and it can cause major debt issues, and financial issues. Now of course for the fashion king or queen we have an image to protect and want to rock the hottest styles and labels all day everyday, but lets step back and realize that our personal budget may not fit this kind of life style, so here are just a few little tips really quick that will help you.
 
 #1,Set a shopping budget that fits your income. I know celebrities and models and etc make Gucci look so good and every women is addicted to getting at least 1 pair of Red Bottoms, but not everyone has a budget for that, so stick to your budget, don't over spend and don't max your credit cards  creating unbelievable debt you will never get out of, for fashion.I love fashion but not enough to ruin my life!!!
  #2, Figure out where you can save on your wardrobe. If you wear tanks under your blazer or cardies don't spend $12 on one piece when you can go somewhere else and find that same tank for $5 even as low as $2.
  #3, last but not least, SHOP AROUND!!!! Its ok. Shopping around gives you the ability to see what others have and how you can save and still look great without going broke!!!
