Make-Up Trends

Hello all. Thanks for stopping by the blog. THIS WEEK WE ARE TALKING ABOUT EDITORIAL MAKE-UP TRENDS. This is one of the hottest new trends in  make-up. Every one is wearing and investing in these amazing pigment colors, and high priced make-up products to get this look. FIRST, lets explains that editorial looks are amazing. They are very artistic and very creative in every aspect, BUT ladies...editorial looks are not MENT for everyday wear!!! Sorry but it is true. Alot of women do these editorial looks for everyday wear and its just not RIGHT!!! Many don't know how to do it in a way that can complete the everyday you. When you look at an editorial magazine shot, the make-up is usually applied heavier than normal, because of the camera. This is not what you need for your everyday looks. No one want to come into a profession office building and see a clown sitting at the desk with the rainbow on their face. Not acceptable, and may women are doing this.

Using really bright colors and rainbow patterns on their eyes to go to work because they saw it in a magazine. No. Instead think of the core of the look and build around that. Any core for any make-up look is the face...eyes and lips. Make sure your foundation is right, then add A color to your eye to complete your look while your at work. You can even do a contrast on the eye with another neutral color if you like but keep it simple and pretty, not CLOWNISH and scary!!! Also understand, certain colors will not compliment your skin for everyday looks. I have seen so many people on Facebook, with this FB cosmetic lines, and creating all kinds of glosses and shadows, that should never be worn on a daily basis. I am sorry ladies, but GREEN...BLUE, AND YELLOW lip gloss is not for everyday wear. Depending on what kind of party you are going to or even, maybe you can pull it off, but to have as your everyday lip gloss...PLEASE SMACK YOURSELF!!! That is not cute. There are even certain PINK color glosses that are just not acceptable for everyday wear. I know everyone wants to be a "BARBIE", but you have never seen Nicki Minaj wearing bright pink lipstick in a candid photo.

NEVER...She is either in performer mode or making an appearance, she is not just chilling at the mall with bright pink lips, even she understands there is a difference, it time that some of you learned it as well lol. Now don't get me wrong, not saying that you should down your love and creativity for make-up as a art form, ABSOLUTELY NOT, but learn how to work the trends that you see in magazines and on TV, in your every day life. No one wants to look like a clown or have traces of make-up coming off their face because they have too much on. I love the new trends of editorial style make up coming to the streets, but learn how and when and you can WORK THIS TREND,till the next one takes over!!!
